Freelance violinist and latterly orchestral leader and conductor in London and the Home Counties. Has played with many orchestras including London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, Philharmonia, Academy of  St. Martin-in-the-Fields, London Mozart Players, English Festival Orchestra, English Sinfonia, Philomusica, Brighton Philharmonic, English String and Symphony Orchestras, European Chamber Opera and many others.

  • Since 1984:    Numerous national and international appearances as soloist and chamber musician.
  • 2004:    Leader, Docklands Sinfonietta
  • 1998 - Present:    Leader, European Chamber Opera
  • 1994 - Present:    Joined and still performs, records and broadcasts with the Bochmann String Quartet
  • 1992 - 1997:    Sub-leader of the English String and Symphony  Orchestras
  • 1991:    Appointed leader of Bolshoi Ballet Touring Company
  • 1991- Present:    Founded and still performs extensively with Mercury Jazz
  • 1989 - 1992:    Founded and performed extensively with the London Chamber Soloists
  • 1985:    Appointed Principal 2nd. Violin, New Sadlers Wells Opera Company
  • 1984 - 1993:    Performed  internationally and recorded with the Bingham String Quartet
  • 1982 - 1994:    Founded and performed extensively with the Amati Piano Trio
  • 1981 - 1984:   Entered the Royal Academy of Music on a scholarship. Studies with David Martin and Sidney Griller
